Applicant for a scholarship must:

• Reside with their family in the Municipality of Guanajuato;

• Attend (or be a graduate of) a high school within the Municipality of Guanajuato;

• Have a minimum 9.0 grade average at a preparatoria (or a minimum 9.0 grade average at a university, if already enrolled);

• Demonstrate financial need; 

• Be accepted by a university in the State of Guanajuato for the 2026-27 academic year
